This weekend we traveled to Sun Valley, Idaho for our annual family reunion. It was a very long drive, but well worth it. Here is a list of things I loved about our visit:
1) Seeing most of our extended family.
2) The beautiful mountains/landscape.
3) The locals.
4) Cool shops.
Of course I took the opportunity to take pictures and do lots of doodling. Here are some pictures from the trip:
I'm working on learning a few new songs just in case I decide to bring my guitar to camp this year. I wanted to start with "The Spider's Web", but I can't find chords anywhere! I'm not quite at the point where I can create my own chords, but I definitely wish I could learn! I did find chords for Edelweiss however. This makes me want to wrap up in a blanket and watch The Sound Of Music again! Maybe I'll try posting a video of how it turns after some practice. We'll see!

Here are a few quotes and scriptures I've found over the past couple of weeks that I want to put into a post. They really help me put things in perspective and keep focused.
Mosiah 26:31 "And ye shall also forgive one another your trespasses; for verily I say unto you, he that forgiveth not his neighbor's trespasses when he says that he repents, the same hath brought himself under condemnation."
"Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid." -Albert Einstein
