Weekly Music # 10 (+ message)

Weekly Music: Song # 10) This week's song is Daylight by Matt and Kim.  I can't even remember where I first saw this video, but I remember just having to stop what I was doing and watch it until it was over! Their voices are very commanding aren't they? I think so.  I love the jumpy and fun (for lack of better words) feel and sound to the song.  Listen and Enjoy!
This week's message: Don't fight, and have fun with your life.  It's a waste of valuable time! (example: I'm very excited to say that I've made up with a very close friend of mine.  It is insane the amount of time we spent frustrated at each other because we didn't know what the other one was upset about! It makes me sad to look back and see all of the months (yes months!) that we wasted not being friends with each other.  We have a clean start now, but we wasted so much time that we could have had together!) Moral of the story is.  Don't wallow in your annoyance or pain.  Find out what's going on, and get on with your life! Talk things through and keep going.

Nikki's last day of school was the 26th.  She had a couple of friends come over for a pool party and dinner, and I took advantage of the opportunity to take some pictures! This pretty much sums up my week!

This Week:

• I promoted 8th Grade(and I didn't trip and fall in the ceremony :)
• I made up with a friend
• I brought my end of quarter science grade up to an A. (This means all A's all year in every class) Yes!
• I put together a pool party for June 2 and got invitations out.

The Outsiders. What an amazing movie/book!



                    Yesterday was the last day of school. Which also means lots of pictures. Guys please. Next time you're taking a pictures remember: Red Eye Flashes Twice!

Spring Pictures

      These are pretty old pictures, but when the flowers were in bloom it was beautiful.  I love Spring here! These are pictures I took just before the flowers kind of, exploded. :) They were everywhere! Of course, it is too hot for them now, but it was nice then. I'm looking forward to long and hot, but still fun summer ahead.

I was reading Color Me Katie today and saw this video.  When I watch Improv Everywhere I can't help but smile.  Their videos are thought provoking and I can't help but be happy when I watch!

Weekly Music

This week's music video is Uberlin by R.E.M.   I came across this video on the Vh1 countdown last week.  I usually just listen, but when I looked over, what I found on my screen was suddenly much more important (and hilarious) than my makeup could ever be.   Thank you R.E.M.!

Cruise pictures

Over spring break my family took a cruise to Mexico.  Each day we stopped and took excursions.  Mexico was beautiful.  Though I took pictures the whole trip, my favorite pictures actually ended up being on our way to the boat, and looking off of the boat.
